Starting with the 2017 model year, and standard starting in 2018, Volvo XC90s come with Pilot Assist II Technology.
Pilot Assist II extends semi-autonomous driving to include low-speed traffic jams as well as highway driving. When semi-autonomous Pilot Assist is activated, acceleration, braking and steering assistance help you follow the traffic flow within your lane to increase safety.
You can activate Pilot Assist by using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel by selecting your desired speed and time gap.
If your hand is not on the steering wheel, Pilot Assist automatically switches off.
